The EBUA are saddened to hear of the passing of our Life Member Allan Higgins from Lancashire. Allan was an International Umpire who officiated at the World Championships at Worthing in 1992 and played a vital role as the Competition Manager at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. He held a Gold Long Service Award from the EBUA.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.
Allan’s funeral will take place on Thursday 17th April at 1:15 pm at All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, BB5 5HT.
